Vehicle Description THIS IS ULTRA RARE GXP TURBO COUPE.
WITH 2 TOPS !!!! I am proud to offer this sharp 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP coupe! In many ways, Pontiac was just beginning to go through a renaissance when the plug was pulled and GM shuttered Pontiac's doors.
A great example of this is the Pontiac Kappa platform.
The Solstice was originally a design exercise authorized by Bob Lutz to generate excitement and show Pontiac was heading in a new direction.
To GM's surprise, the car proved so popular that - like the 1952 Corvette - GM decided to put one into production.
GM developed a brand-new bespoke hydro-formed chassis and It was shared with the Saturn Sky to help recoup the cost.
This Aggressive black Solstice GXP coupe is very special.
It's one of only 1266 Solstice GXP Coupes ever built in the world, Can you say RARE! Never mind the exclusivity of this car, this low mileage climate controlled garage kept car has only been driven approximately 3000 miles per year since leaving the factory.
Being a GXP, the car was ordered with the 260hp Ecotec 4.
The car also has every option available for the Solstice GXP Coupe to include the silver embroidery on the black leather seats and we have added a modern pioneer Bluetooth cd player with a backup camera.
The car even comes with the ultra-rare Foldable Soft-top, GM's own even rarer than the car itself - coupe specific - car cover, vinyl storage bag for the hard Targa-top roof panel, custom embroidered GXP floor mats! Even the ignition switch recall has been accomplished.
This GXP is one of the rare sports cars that drives as it looks! An Aggressive black on black hyper-nimble, go-kart for the street.
It's responsive, quick to change direction, and stops on a dime, and accelerates like a slingshot thanks to the responsive turbo motor.
These rare remnants from Pontiac are hardly ever witnessed in person, let alone for sale.
This little black high-performance automobile is in mint condition and waiting for a new driver, Is it you? Underneath, it's like a 3/4-scale Corvette, including an all-independent suspension with aluminum control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, and four giant disc brakes to slow it down time after time.
Everything is enhanced with the GXP upgrades--bigger sway bars, firmer shocks and springs, a reduced ride height, and oversized brakes so it's insanely competent under almost any circumstances.
The exhaust note has just the right amount of aggression, but quiets down on the open road.
the gears are well-chosen to keep the engine on boil between shifts--the computer controlled transmission always gets your shift points perfect and there's an endless flow of torque that makes the GXP more than a match for a lot of other performance cars.
It has obviously never seen winter weather and remains extremely clean throughout.
Factory polished alloys add a bit of flash to the otherwise monochromatic bodywork.
