This amp does have a buzz in it on both sides - regardless of anything being plugged into the input. I t was used in a studio and we never looked into getting it repaired, just swapped it out for the spare and it sat in the closet for many years. A udio does still pass through the amp as normal, however the buzz makes the signal un-usable for studio purposes.
