Job Description The Job Description should include:
1) Experience with IR solder reflow machines both removing and replacing circuits.
2) Understanding of temperature cycles, preheat, reflow, and cool down to minimize heat damage to the component and adjacent circuitry.
3) Understanding of Lead-free solder and it-s reflow characteristics.
4) Understanding of rework sequencing and material control in the handling of rework.
5) Understanding of how to use solder paste stencils to apply paste to components.
6) Have the ability to remove solder from the surface of the PWB target to prepare the PWB for the remounting of the component.
7) Understanding the use of flux in the reflow process.
8) Understanding of how to properly clean the PWB to prevent long term contamination.
