Estimator
Seeking an experienced Estimator to assume responsibility for producing plans and budgets for new home construction. The successful candidate will establish and monitor budgets for all construction phases, computing gross margin estimates and helping to identify cost-saving techniques, materials and procedures. Functions will include researching and eliminating all material, trade contractor and back office related variances; processing invoices, change orders and starts, daily; and preparing reports for current and future subdivisions. The Estimator will also perform cost comparison and analysis as requested; update cost information in the files; assist with new vendor set-up; and produce pricing for approved customer changes
Qualifications:
Preferably, an Associate's degree
Five or more years of experience in new home construction estimating and purchasing related functions
Intermediate Excel skills
Position will be located in Viera, FL
$17-$20hr based on experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
