SUMMARY
Reports to the Data Management Department but supports projects and administrative activities throughout the company by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Complete various administrative tasks on several active projects including completing , Excel and associated Microsoft suite documents. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency and strong attention to detail is mandatory.

Support the engineering department team creating and maintaining system-level requirements and their flow down to configuration item requirements utilizing DOORS. Strong engineering or other technical support experience is required.

Support engineers, program or project leaders in documentation for design, processes, cost determinations, schedules, and other program needs.

Manage engineering changes as needed to established requirements and updating product documentation, including requirements documentation at all levels, and test plans.

Prepare and edit technical documentation to include test plans, test procedures, test reports, acceptance test procedures, reliability and life studies, failure analysis reports, proposal documentation, technical data, and procedures.

Support engineers by helping to administer and maintain documentation on projects they are involved in, to include design notes, design calculations, work logs, vendor contacts and other documentation required by the department.

Support the Configuration Management department as required.

Support the FAA/licensing area as required including the creation of documentation, changes to and management of technical publications, and other changes to drawings and data.

Input, update, access and maintain computer database or recordkeeping systems and organize files.

May track, record, and report on specific departmental metrics, activities, expenses, and/or other issues.

Under direction of engineers, perform research and contribute to new design or re-design activities.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus 8 years of direct industry experience (FAA or defense related technical documentation) required or an Associate's Degree plus 5 years of direct industry experience (FAA or defense related technical documentation) required, the preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of direct industry experience (FAA or defense related technical documentation). FAA documentation experience highly desired. Familiarity with commercial documentation and technical publication services is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: The individual must be capable of writing and presenting detailed reports, documents, and test procedures, thus a high level of competence in both written and verbal skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, and be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The individual must have an acceptable level of understanding of mathematical formulas that relate to engineering and engineering drawings.

COMPUTER SKILLS: The individual must have proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint. The individual will be asked to perform internet searches and have proficiency with other software programs, such as SharePoint (site administration and workflow management), DOORS, Adobe Pro and others tools required for basic drawing updates.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: The individual will be required to pass any applicable certifications specific to the job and may be required to attain a security clearance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The individual must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, be able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking, and be able to work long hours and/or weekends. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The individual must be able to handle working within reasonable time constraints to meet business schedules and budgets. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
