$30K - $32K a year Duties - Provide daily care and supervision for animals in the kennel facility - Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal enclosures - Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff - Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor - Exercise and socialize animals to ensure their physical and mental well-being - Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming - Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any observed changes in behavior or health Skills - Experience in dog handling and knowledge of animal behavior - Familiarity with kennel operations and pet care practices - Ability to provide excellent customer service to pet owners - Basic understanding of veterinary procedures and terminology - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to animal care - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed Note:
