Job Purpose:
ERCs focus on quality, pricing and product differentiation based on their understanding of the customer environment, including customer influences.
ERCs generate franchise revenue opportunities by directly consulting with homeowners impacted by various types of disasters.
ERCs collaborate directly with local public emergency response agencies and private entities to support operational goals.
They create and retain customer loyalty and preference by establishing rapport with the customer and participating in restoration related community awareness events and programs.
ERCs are responsible directly to the Emergency Services Department Manager.
Core Competencies Core competencies required to perform the duties of an Emergency Response Coordinator include leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
ERCs are responsible for customer service.
They represent the franchise, the Paul Davis brand and give it a face.
They have the ability to turn an emotionally distraught customer into a satisfied one and save a sale when it is in jeopardy and/or leave the customer with a positive lasting impression.
The ERCs primary responsibilities are to be consistently friendly, compassionate, courteous, positive and informative.
Effective ERCs must also possess knowledge of restoration products and services.
They are dynamic speakers and comfortable when interacting in both one-on-one and group settings, and interacting with different levels of management and outside agencies.
Stress tolerance, the ability to work under pressure and a combination of leadership and customer-facing skills are necessary for job effectiveness.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
