Responsibilities:
Assists clinic site with coordinating Refugee.
Working in a fast pace medical setting performing a variety of clerical duties Chart preparation for all clinics Categorizes and files medical correspondence and routes records to proper personnel for follow up.
Proficiently maneuver in electronic health records and verifying insurance records with electronic databases.
Schedules and registers clients for clinic services Obtains current demographic information and updating existing records.
Enters client services in electronic health records.
Bill insurance companies for services rendered utilizing medical coding.
Enter client historical immunizations in electronic health records.
Assists clients on the phone and in person.
May be required to travel as needed for coverage to other work sites.
Collects, calculates, and analyzes social and economic data in the determination of clinic eligibility.
Directs clients to needed services, agencies and /or other staff using proper screening techniques.
Works with insurances companies to obtain authorizations when required for services.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of clerical settings Customer service skills in person and over phone Proficient computer knowledge and skills Ability to multi-task.
Qualifications:
Minimum - Excellent communication skills with clients in person and over the phone and proficient computer skills and knowledge Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.
Preferred - Ability to communicate fluently both written and orally in English or Creole.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
