Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist

Hours are between 28-35 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
(1) Responsible for patient flow:
welcoming patients/signing in, situating patients on therapy tables, scheduling appointments, handling patient payments, disinfecting tables, counters and equipment between patient appointments (2) Responsible for answering phones, checking and responding to emails, responding to voice messages (3) Responsible for using office software to perform insurance benefit checks and tracking of patient visits for insurance and Medicare (4) Responsible for speaking with new patients, creating patient profiles using office software and scheduling first appointments (5) Daily faxing, scanning and patient mailing with occasional bulk promotional mailings (6) Use social media sources to promote and market the Chiropractic Clinic (7) Maintain office supplies and tracking supply orders Required skills:
- Must have excellent customer service skills with pleasant and professional demeanor - Must have excellent computer and technology skills and advanced knowledge of social media resources - Must have willingness to work directly with patients to include close physical contact - Must be willing to thoroughly disinfect entire office area to reduce the spread of COVID Special note:
This job position requires long periods of standing, frequent bending and frequent personal physical contact with patients.
Employees may be selected at random for drug testing at any time.
These tests are unannounced and are required for employment.
