Description The National Solutions Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Launch Communications Coordinator located at Cape Canaveral.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Ratchet Launch mission.
As the Launch Communications Coordinator you will support complex planning, scheduling, and execution of Ratchet Launch projects.
Primary
Responsibilities:
oSupport the customer's launch planning process by providing requirements definition and project planning support.
oCollaborate with launch customers to define launch communications requirements, engineer solutions, and develop supporting documentation.
oDevelop project plans, schedules and timelines.
oLead project through customer milestones and reviews.
oPerform technical writing on project documentation.
oTrack project tasks and action items.
oDevelop and present briefings as required.
oProduce project status reports.
oEnsure accuracy and timeliness of all engineering and maintenance documentation required to support a launch project.
oCollaborate with technicians to ensure IT requirements are met.
oAssist technicians to ensure readiness of systems to support launch activities.
oCollaborate with configuration management team to ensure accuracy and completeness of CM documentation such as facility maps, site floor plans, rack elevations, patch panel, equipment shelf layouts, system overviews, circuit drawings.
oAttend working groups (WGs), Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) and participate in Integrated Product Team (IPTs).
oAssess staffing requirements and IT deployment delivery times to identify lead times.
oSupport launch communications testing and rehearsal activities.
oCoordinate development of project deliverables and products.
oEnsures quality assurance of project deliverables.
oDirects all activities in support of defined launch communications checks with all participating stakeholders.
oDocuments, tracks and provides launch project lessons learned.
Basic
Qualifications:
oActive TS/SCI with PolygraphoRequires BS degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experienceoKnowledge of Federal government standards and guidelines oFull Microsoft Office Suite; focus on Excel and MS Project oExperience working with Sub-contractors Preferred

Pay Range $66,300.
00 - $102,000.
00 - $137,700.
00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
