It will be your primary focus to secure building permits as well as coordinate the approval process by reviewing documents and understanding zoning and building code compliance.
This position is equal parts Customer Support & Permit Tech and will be responsible for:
Assiting customers with scheduling appointments Serves as the first point of contact for customers to provide assistance with general inquiries regarding their job status.
Provides customer service to process permit applications, building inspections and helps maintain and update our online permitting process.
Scans documents for storage in our online database Orders and maintains office supplies Rotates duties with other Permit Technicians Performs other duties as assigned Candidate must possess the following Reliable transportation VALID DRIVERS LICENSE Proficient with software that includes but is not limited to MS Excel, MS Word.
Understanding with general construction (ROOFING materials and techniques).
Excellent organizational skills Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work Strong written and verbal communication skills Job Type:
