Description SUMMARY Provides oversight and assists with the most technical and complex quality control monitoring of all program deliverables in logistics to include but not limited to GSE, vehicle maintenance, fuels, and warehousing. Assists in the development of new monitoring methods and procedures. Prepares, organizes, and reviews all required quality control documentation. Responsible for ensuring compliance with recognized standards and practices. Reviews all documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops, plans, and implements short- and long-term quality objectives, goals and measurements Support the company and customer quality issues and concerns to meet the goal of customer satisfaction through timely delivery of goods and services that meet requirements and expectations at a best value Manages assigned governmental and AAR WASS quality policies, programs, plans, procedures, and practices consistently and accurately Audits work policies, practices, processes, records, and documentation for compliance and makes corrections as required. Executes changes in methods, sampling techniques and control procedures and processes to ensure maximum quality for cost Manages development and administration of a corrective action that ensures prompt and proper identification, segregation, documentation and disposition of nonconforming material and product Directs the accurate and timely preparation of reports Develops estimates of personnel needs and develops work methods to accomplish assigned work within approved budgets. Assists with management and control of Shelf-Life products Provides Support to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked Reviews ACFT configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment Manages supplier integration strategies Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results All other duties as assigned. FAA Airframe and Power Plan (A&P) License Preferred:
Associates of Science or Arts Degree Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 11 years of experience, of which 9 must be specialized in supporting an aviation/aerospace program. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance Previous experience as an Aviation Quality Control Inspector to include performing receiving inspections of to determine component serviceability. Basic computing skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of processing Supply Deficiency Reports (SDR) and Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR). $150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
