Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking software engineering professionals to work in a dynamic classified environment to help us provide world class solutions in support of programs that are critical to our national defense.
In this role candidates will support system development for a product creation and processing system developed by L3Harris's Auntonomous Intelligence Solutions (AIS) group.

The position will support multiple phases of the software lifecycle, including software implementation, integration, debugging, testing, maintenance and documentation.
This position also includes development tasks within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment as part of a larger team dedicated to the customer mission.


Essential Functions:

  • Paricipate as an active team member across multiple components developing software and solutionsfor the national defense customers
  • Translate design requirements and workflows into working software
  • Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with mature software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure
  • Develop new software, adapt old software, and extend an existing software baseline to implement new capabilities and to mature existing capabilities using key enabling technologies and frameworks
  • Perform unit, integration, and system test activities.


Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
    Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
    In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Prior or current experience in C++, Java and Python programming languages
  • Prior or current experience developing in a Linux environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with a variety of software languages (i.
    e.
    , C++, Perl, Python, Java).
  • Experience with GitLab.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
